•• If you’ve not yet managed to catch Shonda Rhimes’ latest creation “How To Get Away With Murder“, you’re missing out big time. Rhimes, who also created big US TV hits in Scandal and Greys Anatomy has done it once again, with Viola Davis as the lead character. The series has done seriously well in terms of ratings for such a new show debuting to 14 million viewers live, providing that right level of potential character progression and edge of your seat drama.

Ahead of upcoming episodes of the ABC show, it has been confirmed that Elizabeth Perkins will appear in the series as a client of Annalise’s, with the show often following a ‘case of the week’ style format.

Elizabewth Perkins is set to play a character named Marren Trudeau, who is reportedly very high profiled, so the pressure will on for Annalise and her team to get her client off scott free. Also to appear alongside Elizabeth Perkins will be Sara Paxton as a woman who works for Marren, while Niko Pepaj from Awkward will play Marren’s assistant.

•• Golden Globe and Emmy nominated actress, Elizabeth Perkins has just joined “Building Bridges”, a film based on a true story, so please check out and support it. This is a true passion project. But it takes real money to make a film. Every dollar raised will be put on the screen. Based on a true story: “Building Bridges” is a unique tale of loss, healing, acceptance and relationships; a meditation on the resilience of the soul. On December 6, 1996, Ron Moore’s world was shattered. All that he knew, trusted and loved was lost. Flashing back and forth in time, our film unflinchingly recounts the journey Ron is forced to make in the aftermath of this unthinkable tragedy. Anger, bargaining, and depression quickly take up the empty space left inside the home Ron once shared with his wife and family. Ron repeatedly struggles to find the way to bridge the distinguishable gap between remembering and forgetting. If he moves forward, tries to forget and opens his heart again, will he be denying his past, or simply living? And the idea of finding and falling in love for the second time in life is something Ron never thought possible. But love, like life, sometimes has the quiet power of sneaking up and flooring you.
