Here’s a tv alert!! Elizabeth takes part in “Celebrity Jeopardy!” as a contestant tomorrow (Tuesday, March 10th). The program airs at 7 p.m. on WFTV-Channel 9. Her oponets will be Tom Bergeron of “Dancing With the Stars” and Aisha Tyler of “Ghost Whisperer” and “Friends.”
They are competing for a $50,000 prize for their favorite charity. The runners-up each receive $25,000 for the charity of choice. Elizabeth played for New England Learning Center for Women in Transition, her charity chose will receive $25,000 donation and double in case she wins the game. Cheers Elizabeth!!
Jeopardy!, America’s Favorite Quiz ® show, airs a special episode of Celebrity Jeopardy! on March 10, 2009. This star studded episode features Tom Bergeron (“Dancing with the Stars”), Elizabeth Perkins (“Weeds”) and Aisha Tyler (Bedtime Stories, “Friends”) who will compete for a $50,000 grand prize to be donated to his or her favorite charity.
Then, beginning March 11, the best of the best go head to head in the Jeopardy! Tournament of Champions! They have already appeared on numerous shows and now Jeopardy! assembles the top contestants from the past 16 months to compete in the Tournament of Champions. Count on some heated competition as contestants vie for $250,000 and the ultimate title. Can the student beat the teacher? Can the writer overcome the scientist? An extra push for these extremely popular shows can bring viewers to your early evening lineup and drive them right into prime time.
All of these shows were taped in front of live audiences from the floor of the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, NV. In collaboration with Sony Electronics, Jeopardy! built a customized set featuring 36 of Sony’s latest HD-LCD monitors, as well as OLED technology and other Sony design innovations.

Sony Pictures Television president Steve Mosko made several announcements today about the company’s participation at the 2009 Consumer Electronics Show in Las Vegas.
Confirming that the studio will shoot ten Tournament of Champions episodes of Jeopardy! from a set adjacent to the Sony booth on the CES floor, Mosko also revealed that an additional episode will be taped, an installment of Celebrity Jeopardy! featuring Elizabeth Perkins and Tom Bergeron.
The shows, shot in high definition, will air in March 2009.
