✿ Elizabeth Perkins will guest star in The Closer as the wife of the LAPD Police Commissioner in an episode airing on Monday, December 19th. Elizabeth’s character, Gail Meyers, gets into some serious trouble when she tries to cover up a potential scandal. Gail’s husband is played by the great Mark Moses, better known as Paul Young from Desperate Housewives. And look who else is joining the star-studded episode titled “Road Block”– Curb Your Enthusiasm’s Maggie Wheeler, who will play Gail’s friend who is interrogated by Brenda (Kyra Sedgwick).

Elizabeth is appearing on the first episode of the eighth and final season of Monk. The episode is titled “Mr. Monk’s Favorite Show” and it will first air on August 7th 2009 on USA Network, 9/8C.
